create:space is a user-friendly student maker space for with technology including 3D printing, vinyl cutting, CNC machining, laser cutting, and VR equipment.
All of the equipment and many of the materials needed to use in the create:space are free and can be accessed at the Tech Desk.
Open-Access Resources
Find everything from hand-tools and crayons to building blocks and LEGOs in create:space. In addition, create:space offers the specialized equipment below.

We have three models of 3D printers available for you to use on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition to the large-screen iMacs at The Hub, the drawing tools are also available.

While most create:space resources are open access, a few require certification and a reservation or both.

create:space feaatures a powerful VR demonstration and development station set up for use with an HTC Vive System.
Safety First - Complete your Safety Modules in Advance
While much of the equipment in the create:space were procured with ease of use in mind, there are simple safety modules required in order to access the equipment. These safety modules can be accessed through this Canvas course. Once completed and added to the access groups, you will be able to checkout and reserve the equipment at the Tech Desk.
