Create, Invent and Learn in the create:space

The create:space is a user-friendly student maker space with technology including 3D printing, vinyl cutting, CNC machining, and laser cutting. We also run workshops for fun projects as well as teaching how to use the equipment.

All of the equipment and many of the materials needed to use in the create:space are free and can be accessed at the Tech Desk.

Open-Access Resources

Find everything from hand-tools and crayons to building blocks and LEGOs in the create:space. In addition, create:space offers the specialized equipment below.

Resources Requiring a Certification and/or Reservation

While most create:space resources are open access, a few require certification, a reservation, or both.

3D Printers

We have three models of 3D printers available for you to use on a first-come, first-served basis.

Safety First - Complete your Safety Modules in Advance

While much of the equipment in the create:space were procured with ease of use in mind, there are simple safety modules required in order to access the equipment.  These safety modules can be accessed through this Canvas course. Once completed and added to the access groups, you will be able to checkout and reserve the equipment at the Tech Desk.
