create:space gives you the opportunity to create and print your own 3D prints! We have easy to use 3D printers and filament available for students to utilize for free.
We have three Dremel 3D45 printers and two Bambu Labs P1S Printers. Please enroll in our Canvas course to get certified to use our printers.
Need help learning how to use our 3D printers?
Come on in between 12p-5p Monday through Friday where we can provide you an impromptu 3D Printing Basics workshop! Schedule is subject to change depending on consultant availability.

Access 3D Printers in create:space
Interested in using 3D printers in create:space? Follow these three easy steps:
- Complete the Hub Equipment Certification Canvas Course.
- This course highlights the best practices for using create:space 3D printers.
- Submit a screenshot of the course results by submitting a ticket.
- Confirmation of 3D printer privileges will be sent within one business day of ticket submission.
- Access the Patron Portal to reserve a 3D print build plate.
New to using the Patron Portal? No problem! Follow the steps on the Loan Process page.
3D Printer Tips:
- 3D printers must be reserved at least 12 hours in advance.
- Glue sticks and scrappers can be found near the 3D printers.
- If you need a USB Drive to save your file, you can loan one from the Tech Desk.
- Bambu Labs P1S Printers require the use of a microSD card. Please complete the 3D Printing Certification Courses to find out more.
- Only use the specific Build Plate for their specific 3D printer.
- Return the build plate when your print is finished.

Bambu Studio
Our Bambu Labs P1S 3D printers only use the Bambu Studio software. You will find the software available for download by clicking on the button below!
