Peer Technology Specialists

Peer Technology Specialists (PTSs) are trained student positions providing technology support to both undergraduate and graduate students, under the supervision of Student Technical Support staff.

Typical help requests include:

  • Resolving device registration issues
  • Troubleshooting network connections
  • General computer/technology consultation
  • Reporting issues and making recommendations to campus partners (University IT, etc.)

Peer Technology Specialists do not provide hardware repair or replacement/upgrades, or data recovery services.
