The Tech Desk

Stanford students have access to loaner technology and media equipment for their academic and extracurricular activities.

We have a variety of types of equipment for loan such as laptops, iPads, speakers, projectors, calculators, cameras, chargers, and many more useful devices.

Have a Fee to Pay?

Pay fees any time by visiting our Hub Shop. We will process payments within one business day.

Can't find what you need?

  • If the equipment you need is not listed in the Patron Portal, please submit a ticket. We will get back with you within one business day. 
  • We offer same-day loans for accessories such as chargers and adapters from The Tech Desk. Please stop by during our open hours to check them out.
  • You may also be eligible to borrow equipment from other campus providers. Use the Equipment Loans filter available in the Resources Directory on the Tech Resources & Support website (aka "TechSource").
